Blog Death by Vacations

I know I have to be more consistent with my blog posts, but I really have a great excuse for not posting anything in over a month.

I WAS ON VACATIONS WITH THE FAMILY!

We’ve been planning this since September last year, maybe I didn’t plan enough, because I could have left some scheduled posts in place so no one noticed I was gone, but what the heck.

My wife Marielos and my two kids Ricky (9) and Alex (4.5) went to Florida for 3 weeks. 16 days at Orlando and the rest in Miami visiting my uncle.

16 Days in Orlando! Well I purchased passes to visit 8 parks so we were at a park almost every day.
Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Hollywood Studios, Wet and Wild, Aquatica, Sea World and Bush Gardens.
Now that was an experience I highly recommend but if you were to tell me to do it a gain I’d not go to so many parks, maybe just 3 or 4 and relax a bit more at the resort, which also has a ton of things you can do.

Anyways, the kids loved it, I have over 700 pictures and 7 hours of video, all taken with my handy Casio Exilim. Plenty of memories to hang on to for a year or two at least.

So now that I’m back I promise I’ll be more active at my blog and also feel free to follow me on twitter.

Cheers!
Richard
P.S. the extra week I didn’t post… that was to rest and recuperate from the vacation ;-)

Hi, Richard!

Clarence here (from Twitter). Reading your blog for the first time.

Glad to see you had a fabulous time during vacations. I live in Malaysia but I’d love to vacation in the US with my family some day :)

Have a super day!

Hey Clarence, what’s up?
That will be a long trip but no matter if you fly left or right it’s kind of the same distance away. But I’m sure you’ll enjoy it when you make it.
Cheers,

Richard
