I’ve been playing around with this tool for a few days before
telling you about it because I wanted to be sure it worked well
and that there weren’t any hidden fees associated to it.
After thorough research (playing as I call it) I can honestly say
that this software is EXCELENT. It’s called JING and it’s from
Techsmith, the creators of Camtasia. If you’ve heard about Camtasia
you might now it is the preferred choice of marketers and trainers
for desktop video recording, and you might also know it has a price
tag around $500.
The good news I have is that JING is also from the creators of
Camtasia, but it is 100% free, and you can even get free hosting
with it. What’s the deal? I have no idea. They might just be
testing it out and plan on charging for it in the future. But for
now it’s free and I highly recommend you get it while you can.
One thing I do have to tell you is that when you install it don’t
have it run automatically when windows starts because it will use
some resources to sit on your desk waiting for you to click and
record.
Do get this while it’s available and start doing your own desktop
recordings. That is one of the easiest way to create your own
product.
