Hey, Richard! We met in Harris’ Codename Catalyst forum - I’ve been watching you from a distance, man! Great job on the peelers deal!

Hey, I’ve been using the Flip camera for a while now. It’s a great little device - in part b/c it’s so sturdy (I’ve dropped it so many times). It’s also way easy to handle even for the most mindless moments. But not having a slot for a memory card of some type is a major flaw indeed.

I want an alternative that has a similar “feel” as the flip cam, and that allows me to start creating video in a flash (without hunting for the right video mode). So I’m still looking for “perfect”.

Thanks for the tripod idea though - it really looks much better than holding with your hand. Great idea!

You know, you are right about that.
The Casio has a ton of options from where to choose and it’s not always what you expect. Also I’m not sure how well it would take a fall.

Hmmmm if they only made the flip with a SD card.
